About Jen

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, Special Education, and essential study skills. I hold expertise in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and focus on building confidence through personalized, patient support. By observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make complex concepts manageable. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we remain a collaborative team. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a coffee shop, I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and discover a genuine love for learning.
