About Jenessa

Hi! My name is Jenessa, and I am a graduate student at the University of Minnesota studying Social Work and Public Health. I currently work directly with children and families with histories of trauma, supporting emotional regulation and helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment. I have experience working with both neurodivergent and neurotypical children and enjoy creating fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities. My social work background helps me understand children's emotional needs, and I prioritize patience, empathy, and safety in my care. I am currently looking for summer childcare opportunities and would love to support a family with compassionate, reliable care.
