Attending Tennessee Tech University as a chemical engineer major coming out of high school gave me a strong background in math, physics, and chemistry. I graduated from MTSU. I've maintained my strong math and science background by aiding students including my own children and helping out family members and friends as well as tutoring as a job. I have the heart of a teacher and enjoy helping students young and older understand math and science. I feel like not enough emphasis is put on education today and students a lot of times need that extra help to understand the subject at hand. I implement real world scenarios into my studies where possible and this seems to help most students understand the subject matter.
