I took care of my father who had ALS on a daily basis. I used a Hoyer lift to help transfer him in and out of bed and onto his wheelchair. Helped with bathing, everyday hygiene. foley bag, Helped with dressing,. Prepared breakfast, lunch. Drove him to doctor appointments. He has passed away now. I continued to care for my momI Helped with bathing, dressing. Getting her ready for the day, medicine, meals, doctor appointments, Daily exercise. Diabetic care. She has now passed away from sepsis. I'm currently caring for Mrs E. A 97-year-old lady. I've been with her for 2-years . My daily routine with her is making her 3 meals a day. Assisted with walking with her walker, showeringgrooming and dressing for the day, needed to be monitored and assisted with daily activities. Took her to doctor's appointments. Gave medication. Daily walks, If it was a pretty day we were outside. Helped her put her hearing aids in. Light house keeping. Mrs E. Has currently moved to live with her niece in Dallas
