I would be happy to do companion activities that do NOT require a health care practitioner. Walks, sorting mail, grocery shopping, internet help, sorting photos. I am also available to visit in the hospital, and if given permission by the client / their family, will accompany to doctor appointments, and take notes. I can help with pet care, cook meals, and be a new person whom you and your loved one feel happy to see and comfortable to be around. I have worked as a paid companion for the past several months, for a sweet, funny gentleman with beginning onset Alzheimer's. Sadly, with my semester beginning and school being in the opposite direction of his home, I'm no longer able to spend time with him. Additionally, I have helped care for 2 of my grandparents after their respective strokes, both of my parents during their cancer treatment, and help with my in-laws' healthcare needs.
