About Jazmin

I'd describe my personality as creative, easygoing, and patient. I like working with kids because I enjoy being someone they can look up to and can bring them comfort throughout the day. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, values my work, and values my opinions. I started working with kids when I moved to college and decided I wanted to become a teacher. Back home, I would volunteer at any childcare opportunities I was offered. In my spare time, I like to watercolor, work with ceramics, read, watch movies, and hang out with my cat! One thing you should know about me is I am still learning new things and strategies as I work with different children in my current job and beyond. Some may need a different comforting strategy than others. As much as I am patient with children, I would appreciate the same patience from families. My skills include behavior management, de-escalation, and problem solving.
