About Jaymi

My name is Jaymi. I am 26 years old and a single mom to a 2. 5 and an almost 4-year-old! I love being a mom and I love working with kids. I believe kids learn best through play so spending lots of time at their level with music, dancing, games, art projects and coloring activities and being outside is so important! Through high school I spent a year in the childhood development program. Working in both the on-site nursery and preschool as well as 6 months spending an hour each day in the local kindergarten class. After that, but prior to having my own kids, I spent 4 months as mother's help for twin infants. I provided help with feedings, changing diapers, and cleaning through the night and play in the morning. I spent 3 years at home with my own children. Then, for the past 7 months I have worked as a teacher in a daycare primarily with infants and toddlers but I do occasionally spend time in the preschool room with kids aged 4-5.
