About Jayla

Hi! My name is Jayla, and I'm a reliable, patient, and nurturing childcare provider with three years of babysitting experience, primarily caring for younger family members and family friends. Through this experience, I've developed strong skills in keeping children safe, engaged, while following routines and meeting their individual needs. I'm currently in college pursuing a degree in Chemistry, which has strengthened my responsibility, time management, and attention to detail I bring into my childcare work every day. I enjoy creating a calm, fun, and positive environment for children. I'm happy to help with homework, prepare simple meals, plan age appropriate activities. I'm very comfortable with pets and enjoy working in pet friendly homes. While much of my experience has been with family, I approach every childcare role with professionalism and genuine care. I am currently in progress with my CPR certification to continue building my emergency preparedness skills.
