About Jayla

I am a full time student at Howard University studying nursing. I started working with kids when I was about 12 years old and I would babysit for my family members and teach at the dance school I attended. I'd describe my personality as fun, responsible, and understanding. I like working with kids because I've always naturally been a caretaker and I love kids. I've watched the kids in my family since I was younger and it's always been an amazing experience. I'm fun loving, extremely responsible, logical, and very adaptable so taking care of kids have always come very easily to me. I'm looking for a job with open communication with parents as well as a thorough understanding of expectations and responsibilities. Overall I would just like to make the parents' lives easier as well as give the children a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience while away from parents for the short periods. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, bake, shop, and do self care.
