About Jayla

Hi, my name is Jayla. I've been working with kids since I was 16, starting with the Future Teacher Internship, where I worked with elementary kids. I then continued working in preschools for over 5 years, including Montessori and SPED, life skills, all the way up through middle school ISS and highschool. Over the last few years, I am comfortable and experienced with infants (6 weeks-18 months), toddlers, and 2-3-year-olds, all the way through 10th grade. I love kids of all ages. If it's nice out, I love to take the kids on adventures and let their imagination run wild or can just be a help with drop off, pick up and homework. If not, it's always a great day for crafts and sensory play, and a good Disney movie. I am familiar with the Frog Street curriculum and am trained in CPR and first aid. I would love to offer occasional babysitting. Or be a extra pair of hand to a family long term.
