About Jaya

Hey there! I'm a college student studying psychology and am a substitute teacher/ paraprofessional in Hudson County with hands on experience working with neurodivergent children. I am very active and love being outdoors, painting, reading, and learning to play the guitar and piano. I have experience with as young as 3mths, and maintaining sleep schedules, meal prepping, changing diapers, and keeping the child engaged outside of phones/tablet. I'm also comfortable helping reach developmental milestones- I'm just as invested as you are! I was also a lifeguard for two years and taught swimming lessons to young ones, so going to the pool this summer is always a fun option. I've spent time tutoring others throughout high school and can provide academic support for all ages. My mom has been an elementary school teacher for my entire life and I think that the experience really helps me connect with kids. In total, I have 8 years of experience with kids and 4 years with infants.
