I've always had a big heart for seniors, special needs & animals. I've been caregiving for my gram with Alzheimer's for 9 years (hospice) and for my step-dad, with frontotemporal dementia for 2 years (soon hospice). I've studied proper patient transfer techniques & completed several caregiver training courses. I'm happy to manage meds, feed, bathe, dress, offer full toileting assistance, catheter irrigation & UTI prevention/healing. I've also developed skills with skin care & pressure sore prevention. While caregiving, I spent 2 years assisting in adult special needs Sunday school & 3 years participating with special needs adults at a local senior center. I'm a pet lover of all kinds. If driving is needed, I charge 15 cents per mile for gas, but no maintenance fees. I'm also a rideshare driver and am only seeking to serve as respite care or appointment driver for the time being; not looking for full-time recurring work. Available between sunup & sundown M, T, W, F, Sa.
