About Jasmine

Hi! My name is Jasmine, people call me Jazz! I'm a multidisciplinary artist from the Twin Cities of Minnesota! Baby sitting was my first job! I had to be about 15 when I started watching to 2nd grade siblings. When I was old enough to work a job legally, I worked at a recreation center at 16. Then, I began working as a teacher's aide for an elementary class at J. J. Hill Montessori for about two years, until I graduated high school! It was then I realized I had a knack with kids. I got really passionate about education and kids and began speaking at educator's conferences, which lead to an internship in DC with an education non-profit. The mission was to transform the education system to better suit youth as individuals and structure their education around their interests and needs. It was fun traveling the U. S. and speaking with educator's from all over the country, but I realized I missed working directly with the kids, though I was working for them. So here I am! (-:
