About Jaquelyn

I started working with kids after graduating from college. I started as a substitute teacher in elementary school. After five years of teaching in elementary schools, I decided to transition into the early childhood field. Most of my teaching and classroom experience has been with children ages 0-3 years old in a play-based program. After six years of working in mostly play-based programs, I became interested in learning about the Montessori philosophy. Since then I have continued learning about and teaching in a Montessori school program. In my spare time, I like to explore and try new restaurants and foods in the Bay Area. I also enjoy hiking and spending time with my loved ones, including my cat. My skills include responding to a child's basic needs (e. g. feeding, diapering, napping, etc) and supporting a child's developmental needs (e. g. language/literacy) Light housekeeping duties - laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc Prioritizing safety and supervision at all times
