About Jan

I am a nurse and a nanny and have over 20 years experience in these fields. I very much enjoy children, especially infants, but kids of all ages, and look forward to assisting a family with their needs, or offering my time for babysitting as needed. I know this is a particularly difficult time right now, especially for parents of little ones, and I would love to lend a hand where I can be of help. I am very organized and actually enjoy housework, and love to go for walks and read to children, something I did regularly with my own two kids, one with two degrees and one a third year in college. I call myself Nurse JanJan because I am a nurse, and all my nieces and nephews, and really most people who know me well, now call me JanJan. Little ones have an easier time learning to say two-syllable words, so it was helpful for the kids in my life to learn my name by having a nickname like this. I look forward to meeting anyone who might be interested meeting me.
