About Janis

Hello, my name is Janis. I moved to Indiana in 2013 to help care for my mother and since then, I have been blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, who is now 3 years old. During my professional career, I worked for two years as an aide and activities assistant in the Alzheimer's unit of a nursing home in Folsom, Pennsylvania. Then I spent nearly three years working with senior citizens as Activities Assistant for Stone-bridge at Montgomery Nursing Home (NJ). When my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, she moved into my house and I cared for her a year before she passed. Additionally, I worked with infants and toddlers for 17 years as a child care provider at the YMCA of Hillsborough (NJ) and at the Park City Municipal Center (UT). Throughout my career, I have completed several rounds of CPR training and First Aid Training.
