About Janisha

Hi families! I'm Janisha, and I love helping children learn, grow, and have fun! I'm a creative person who enjoys bringing art, crafts, and hands-on activities into childcare to make learning fun and engaging. I have experience caring for children from infants through elementary age, especially younger children. I've worked as a preschool teacher with2-year-olds, a kindergarten classroom co-teacher, an elementary school secretary, and a camp counselor. As an artist, I love using creativity to help children explore their imagination while building skills like communication, problem-solving, patience, fine motor skills, and self-expression. I enjoy painting, reading, practicing letters and numbers, and creating fun projects together. I'm patient, nurturing, and attentive, and I believe in balancing structure with fun. My goal is for every child to feel safe, cared for, and excited to spend time with me while giving parents peace of mind.
