About Janine

I'm a nurturing, creative caregiver with over a decade of hands-on parenting and teaching experience. I'm a mother of two thoughtful, imaginative kids (ages 10 and 7), and I've spent years supporting children's growth through storytelling, theatre, nature-based exploration, and play. My approach is grounded in conscious parenting, child-led learning, and joyful structure. I'm an experienced homeschool teacher (using eclectic methodology including Montessori, secular Charlotte Mason, and Waldorf, among others), and I'm especially excited to support families who value curiosity, creativity, and connection. Beginning July 17, my kids will be with me full-time (with a flexible schedule attending a microschool and homeschooling part-time). In certain roles-especially homeschool life, nanny shares, or outdoor learning opportunities-they may be able to accompany me, offering built-in socialization and peer modeling. I'm always happy to tailor care to fit your family's needs and comfort.
