About Janine

I am a mother of a 7-year-old and and 4-year-old. I love to teach and incorporate Shakespeare, acting, storytelling, poetry, music, art, crafting, cooking, and nature studies into my time with children. I'm a former homeschool mom (decided I'm a fan of a good public school, after all) and gentle parent forever. My children's father will have them most of the summer (I think June and July), and after that, I would love to find a babysitting or nannying postion in which they could accompany me. In August I will be beginning graduate work for the Shakespeare and Performance program at Mary Baldwin University, but I hope to continue nannying on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays at that time. Meanwhile, I would love to work full-time with your children this summer while my children are away and I have no other obligations but my freelance writing and Shakespeare coaching work!
