About Janice

I am a semi-retired teacher, who has experience working with seniors of all ages I volunteered at the veterans nursing home on the old CU Health Campus. I visited with the veterans, played cards, board games, took them for walks and at times, they would just want me to sit with them. Some of them had no relatives or nearby friends/family, so I became the surrogate family/friend go to person. Seniors have so much to give people no matter what their circumstances might be. When I taught full time, I worked with veterans, who shared their stories from. WW II and the Vietnam War. All of them had a positive effect on my students. I am a positive and energetic person, who would love to assist you with senior care/companionship. Jan
