A few years ago, I worked with Home Instead Senior Care; while with them, I cared for a couple every weekend for over 3 years (made their meals, tidied up kitchen, and helped with general care and companionship). I also helped another family by walking their dog and helping the lady of the household get ready for bed (as she had memory issues). I gave up the couple that I had been with just over 3 years, when they moved into assisted living accommodations. Note: I am not comfortable with bathing a senior citizen. Also, need a minimum of $16/hr wage.
