Hi I'm GeeGee! 
I was raised in a home where my mother, a teacher, ran an infant-Pre-K childcare center in our home. I was a mother's helper at a very early age and babysat frequently Jr high - college. Throughout HS and College I worked at summer camps. After that I worked in a hospital child care center's infant & preK rooms. I was blessed with 3 children of my own. They are now grown and still my joy! For 4 years I took the newborn photos at SJH and also worked Front Office in the NICU. I've nannied consistently now for over 15 years for so many wonderful families both FT & PT. Available Mondays and weekend date nights by request. Here's to your happy healthy family! GeeGee

I recently hired Janice to spend the day with my two boys (8 & 10) while attending family events in Geneva.  We traveled from the DC area and I was a little nervous about finding someone I could trust — Janice was a blessing!   Totally above and beyond what I expected.  She not only kept my boys safe and cared for at the Airbnb, but spent the day exploring the wildlife and going on adventures.  They had such a good time and loved her so much!  Definitely recommend her!

Janice is a true professional! She was someone our kids quickly came to trust and enjoy being around. She always put their safety first while keeping them active and engaged. We loved that she took them to different libraries around the area, giving them opportunities to explore and learn. We always knew they were in good hands and are grateful for everything she did for them. 

Janice (or "GeeGee" as we called her) cared for my daughter (2), niece (5) and nephew (3). Three kids who are 5 and under are no joke and GeeGee always came ready to work with patience and care for our kids. My sister and I utilized her for over a year as full-time care and my daughter woke up everyday excited to see GeeGee. She is an engaged, present caretaker - she was always taking them to local libraries and finding creative ways to keep the kids busy. She also assisted in helping my daughter with potty training and was very consistent with a routine during the day for sleeping and meals. My daughter is starting an early education program and with that I no longer need full-time care but GeeGee will always be apart of our family. She truly is a modern day Mary Poppins and I am so grateful for the love and care she showed my daughter during such a important growth period of her life. She is also extremely reliable and always jumped in to help with care when we had unexpected things come up. GeeGee is the real deal for your child care needs! 

I cannot say enough good things about GeeGee. She has been our go-to babysitter over the past year for our now 1 year old son. We instantly knew she was a good fit for our family - and felt at ease and comfortable with her. She has been available as needed for nights out and even stayed the weekend once with our son and dogs so we could attend a friends out of town wedding. She stuck to my sons regular schedule including nap time and bedtime routine (you know how it goes for a first time mom) :) She is trustworthy, a good communicator, and always on time. Even offers to help with household chores when there is downtime which is much appreciated! We have been very grateful and lucky to have GeeGee!

Janice was great with my daughter. She is very good at adding educational opportunities and not just play playtime. She even found time to tidy up my home. Janice has so much energy. She was a blessing to have.

I had to find a sitter for my three girls, ages 5, 3, and 6 months, for 5 hours for my cousin's wedding (we live out of state). I found Janice on Care.com and she was everything we could have wanted! She reached out ahead of time to ask me questions about the girls to get to know a little bit about them, and she arranged for a time for all of us to meet beforehand and break the ice so that the girls (and I) would be more comfortable for when she had to babysit. She came to our hotel and brought activities with her - my oldest is still wearing the hair bows they made together a week later. Everything went smoothly and she made this nervous mom feel about as at ease as I could leaving my children with a "stranger". She communicated well and even sent pictures to us of the girls while we were at the wedding. She checked off every box on my list that I could have wanted her to. I would hire her again in a heartbeat, and I absolutely recommend her!

Janice was an absolute angel for us as we had our first child in 2015 and had no family or close friends nearby to help. My husbands job required approx 30 min travel early in the morning (before daycare's were open) and I was a full time working physician mom who had in-hospital overnight call 2-3xweek.  From the first time I spoke with her by phone, I knew she was perfect for our family. She was always flexible with my crazy work schedule and dependable. She helped me raise my sweet first born boy and became part of our family.  Janice would also help clean and organize when our son was napping or hadn't got up yet.  She is one of the sweetest ladies I know and the best nanny one could ask for your children. I'd highly recommend without any hesitation.

Janice has watched my two young girls 16 months apart many times. We LOVE her. She is amazing with my girls and goes above what she needs to do. The girls always have smiles on their faces when they see Janice. I would highly recommend Janice.

Janice cared for my 2 preschool boys part time in her home. She was a kind and loving caregiver. The boys always enjoyed going to her house and often came home with fun crafts or projects.  

Janice has cared for our baby since she was about 6 weeks old. As first time parents, we have greatly appreciated her experience, warm and trustworthy personality. Our daughter adores Janice and we never doubt that our baby has her full care and attention. As a bonus, Janice is also very helpful around the house when our baby is asleep.
