About Janet

I am a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist supporting families in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburban areas. After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Psychology from the University of Arizona, I worked as a live-in nanny for more than 10 years, helping families nurture and raise children from newborns to toddlers. Spending this time helping families navigate the postpartum period revealed how critical this window is to establishing a healthy, and happy home environment for all members of the household. I have a true passion for helping families thrive throughout this transitional period and reestablish balance in the household. I completed a Postpartum Doula training program at Birth Arts International with Beth Goldberg, one of the leading doula trainers in the northeast. My goal is to provide non-judgmental support for families throughout the postpartum period, assisting in any way possible.
