I have worked through Care. com for nine+ years. My DMV/background is available. My grandmother lived a full life until 96. She has been gone for 20 years. Sadly, not all older adults have as much independence or can get around to do for themselves. I enjoyed my time delivering Meals on Wheels and seeing how our visits brightened the senior clients' day having someone to check in and share a friendly smile or chat. I am a mom of two adult sons, one who continued our family military history. I'm organized, feel comfortable striking up conversations, and can play some awesome board games. I've played a lot of UNO and other card/board games this year. I look forward to discussing your needs. September 2023, I had the newest COVID, flu, and RSV vaccines. I work part-time with a 4-hour minimum per day. I look forward to hearing about your needs.

Janet has been a trusted caregiver for my 86-year-old mom for over 18 months. She started in Sept 2021, and we were fortunate to have her return in Sept 2022 after a summer break. Janet and my mom go shopping together, out to lunch, keep the fridge stocked, organize things around the house and play Boggle! Janet is very reliable especially for taking mom to Dr appointments. More importantly, Janet has interacted my mom in a positive way that has impacted her overall health. She keeps my mom entertained, engaged, and has improved her diet. Our caregiving needs change in the summer so we will be concluding this schedule but would hire her again.
