I'm a compassionate, attentive caregiver with experience providing personal care and companionship for people who remain largely independent. I bring patience, warmth, and a calm presence, with attention to each person's comfort, dignity, and daily routine. I cared for three women with Alzheimer's disease and substantial memory impairment-eight months as a live-in caregiver for my first client; 1. 5yrs with my second client, 11 with third. I assisted with showering, dressing, toileting, administering prescribed medications, preparing light meals, shopping, transportation, and companionship. I accompanied them to medical appointments, daily events, supporting their participation in everyday life. I hold an Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD) certificate and attended a three-day Alzheimer's conference in Palm Beach Gardens in 2015. My experience has taught me to adapt to different needs, offer reassurance, and encourage independence while remaining attentive to safety.
