About Janet

I am the mother of three wonderful young men; one In college and two that have graduated from college. They have been home schooled through High School . I have a degree in Elementary Education with Art as an area of concentration and a certificate in ESL. I also have experience as an educator, art teacher, camp counselor and daycare worker. I recently had a position watching a 2-year-old boy. English wasn't his native language, so I had the opportunity to teach it to him. I have watched boy and girl twins for over nine years and have watched three children aged four and under on a part time basis. I worked with them for two and a half years. Some of the things I like to do with the children I work with are: art projects, reading lots of books, puzzles, blocks and Lego's, fort building, nature study, building snowmen and going on walks. I have developed a close relationship with the children I have watched and am patient, interactive and encouraging.

Janet is a kind, caring, and dependable nanny who takes care of our son from age 1 to age 2. She is always punctual to work. During the day, she would read to him, play with him, and make art/craft with him.Our son has learned many things from Janet, and we can tell he adores her. We are so fortunate to have Janet as our nanny during this critical time of our son's development, and we believe you will find her to be a wonderful addition to your family !
