I have a passion in helping others and have worked many years in the personal care field. My most recent job was caring for my sister in law that was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia I did dedicate most of my time caring for her needs along with my brother's well being. Prior to caring for my family member, I was a house manager for a wonderful family. In the past, I was a member of a team that was offering 24-hour care to an elderly woman with early stages of dementia. She required full-time care for all of her basic needs. The days that I was scheduled with her entail medication reminders, meal prep with light feedings, showering, dressing and overall help in getting her prepared to start her day. At times, I also covered the overnight shift as well. A few of my other responsibilities include washing client's clothes, changing bed, light housekeeping, meal preparation and general companionship

I'm a nurse who has overseen complete care of an elderly women for the past five years. I have five caregivers on the team and Janet has been one of the caregivers. She has truly been such an asset. She is so caring and patient. The resident she cares for is always so happy and smiling when I tell her Janet is going to relieve me. I always feel she's in good safe hands. Some of her special interest are preparing excellent nutritional meals. She is CPR certified and AED certified. I think she has so much to offer and anyone would be so fortunate to have her as their caregiver.
