I am Janet. I am 62 years old. I completed high school in 1977 and teacher training college in 1981 in Ghana. I learned Child Psychology in training college. I was a Home Economics teacher in a junior high school for 22 years. One of my two daughters is working for the state and the other is a Pharmacist. I am trained in CPR and First Aid. My priority is to make kids happy, help them learn, keep children safe and help the parents to have time to pursue their dreams. 

I handle them with patience and love. I provide the needed services: diaper change (any kind), feeding, cleaning and boiling bottles, walking, swinging, singing, dancing, reading to the child, bathing, playing with the child, putting the child down, monitoring their naps, light housekeeping, laundry, loading and unloading dishes and so on. My availability for Fulltime will be from July Ist to July 5th 2024 for ages 0-2 and helping me with my tax deductions will be highly appreciated or plus. Rate $23/hour. Thank you.

Our family loved our time with Janet.  She started working with us when our daughter was about 6 months old and brought so much joy into our house.  She took great care of our daughter, helping transition her to solids, moving from crawling to standing, and making sure she got enough time outside - walking her to a nearby park.  Janet is a great communicator, especially over text, and is always reliable and punctual.  Our only regret is we didn't get to keep her on longer - my parents moved closer and we no longer needed full time care. 10/10 recommend, especially for new parents, as Janet is full of wisdom when it comes to caring for babies.  

We hired Janet somewhat last minute for 2 full days of babysitting for our 11-month-old. My husband described her as a children's storybook come to life! She was very sweet with her son, had great recommendations for feeding that we hadn't thought of and definitely left the house cleaner than when she arrived... without any prompting from us! Would definitely rehire Janet again!

Janet is a loving, caring, dependable nanny! She was a nanny for our 3 month old and helped us out when we were in a bind for childcare. I am a first time mom, so was very nervous for someone else to watch my baby, but Janet took care of our baby so well that it put me at ease. She also was great about doing our laundry, washing bottles/dishes, and other household chores while the baby was sleeping. We would highly recommend Janet!

For the past 4 years, Janet has been an essential part of our family, helping us lovingly raise all three of our children, from the time they were just 5–6 weeks old through toddlerhood. Her energy is unmatched, she spends her days singing, playing, and engaging our little ones with such joy and warmth.

She treats our children as if they were her own, and it shows in everything she does. Beyond just childcare, she has been a calm, knowledgeable, and reassuring presence, teaching me more about caring for babies than any book ever could.

She is completely reliable, she shows up promptly every single day and has called out sick maybe 3 times in 4 years (wow). My husband and I both work from home, and she has been incredibly supportive to us throughout the day, creating a peaceful and happy environment for everyone.

Without ever being asked, she helps keep our home running smoothly: doing dishes, folding laundry, and even making beds. Her initiative and care go above and beyond in every way.

Most importantly, she has earned our complete trust. Leaving our babies in her care has always brought us peace of mind. We truly wish she could stay with us forever.

We recommend her wholeheartedly to any family, she is one of a kind.

Janet was great to work with & took great care of my newborn baby. She was prompt to reply, on time & knowledgeable of infants. She was very interactive with my baby, singing songs with her. Plus when I came home, she had tidied up - such a nice feeling as a new Mom to come home to a clean space. I'll definitely continue to use her in the future.

Janet cares for our daughter like she is her own daughter. She is dependable and we think of her as part of our family. Janet goes above and beyond normal caretaker duties, she keeps our house in order, cooks and does laundry. We were so lucky to find her when we did, we wish she could stay with our family however she prefers to care for one child and we have two. 

Janet has been taking care of our son since he was three months old.  She has become a trusted member of our family.  She has been wonderful with him at every stage -- from 3 months to 20 months.  She takes him to the park, engages with him in reading books, and prepares wonderful food for him.  Janet is very responsible:  she is on time and communicates well by text.  She takes care of more than just our son - she is a huge help around the house.  We truly consider her part of our family.

Janet was so lovely with our son.  She was so interactive and engaging with him-he loved her!  As a first time mom, it was nice to see someone who truly nurtured him and treated him as if he were her own.  Thanks, Janet!  We will see you in the future :)

I can't say enough wonderful things about Janet! She has been a blessing to me and my 1 year old son in so many ways! First of all, she is amazing with him - always singing, playing, and laughing. They take walks, they do "chores" together, and he is always happy to see her. Taking such great care of him would be enough, but she also takes care of me!  I'm a single mom, I work full-time and my home has never been so clean and organized! We are also very well-fed with her delicious cooking! We will be sad when the time comes for Janet to leave us, but she will always be loved. She has truly been a blessing to our little family!

Janet is a mature and experienced care giver. On short notice she cared for my three boys ages 3, 4 & 5 one evening in the spring of 2014. Despite her quiet voice she was able to take charge of my boys and get desired results from them on her first request. While out of the house I did not once worry that she would be in a situation where my boys were having tantrums and fighting her or each other. This is where her maturity, experience as a caregiver and mother, and calm personality was a perfect fit for my boys' needs.

Janet cared for our 3 month old for 2 to 3 months. I have to say I miss her dearly. I work part time, and my schedule is a bit unusual making it difficult to find another family to compliment our schedule. Janet kept such good care of our daughter, our home, and us! Our daughter was all smiles when Janet arrived and always clean and happy when I came home. Janet also kept our home spotless, made yummy baby food, and cakes for us. She did all this without being asked. She always seemed happy to make our lives easier. Janet is reliable, punctual, and experienced. Additionally, she is a kind, warm, and generous person. I would hire her back in a heart beat if schedules allowed.

Janet has been with our family for several months and before that will a family of a very good friend.  She is wonderful!  We are so happy that she is able to help us and has been great to our little guy since he was very young.

Janet is the best! She is wise, knows and loves babies. She took great care of my 6 month old son. I would hire her anytime.
