Aloha! I am a mature and experienced childcare provider and housekeeper with over 25 years experience working with families in their homes. I have cared for children ages 3 months to 12 years old and enjoy the different ages and stages. I owned and operated an educational toy store in downtown Hilo, for eight years and am educated in child development and age appropriate activities and play. I enjoy taking children outside to play, going for walks, arts & crafts, reading books, playing games, helping with schoolwork and household chores. Most of all I enjoy taking the time to look into children's eyes, listening to what they have to say and talking story with them. I am also able and willing to help with light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep and gardening. I am also willing to help out with errands and shopping as needed for the family.

Janet is caring for my dad who is in Hawaii while I reside in San Diego. Though we have only communicated long distance via phone, text and email, she has proven to be proactive, efficient and inspires good health by preparing quality meals, tending to some of the most unpleasant of grooming tasks and recommending an environment filled with music and kindness. Janet is a blessing for my family!
