I have worked in rehabilitation healthcare for over 25 years as a certified occupational therapy assistant and over the last few years have provided caregiving services privately. I have also been certified and employed previously as a nursing assistant. My expertise is working with those living with dementia and hold certifications in dementia care, having attended and participated in several continuing education courses throughout my career. I feel I bring an engaging approach, empathy, dignity and an understanding of communication with individuals living with dementia. I can also provide respite for the caregiver and assist with home tasks. CPR and first aid trained. I am available for part-time hours Monday-Thursday.
