I am a retired RN who has extensive senior care experience. I worked for many years in skilled nursing facilities, and my specialty is Geriatrics. I have always enjoyed working with this population. I am active, and healthy, both mentally and physically. In my 40 years of nursing, I worked with patients with many conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, diabetes, and neurological disorders, as well as dementia and Alzheimer's. Janet was a godsend for our family. My mother was on hospice care at home and Janet provided excellent care for her in her final days. Not only did she take care of her physical needs, Janet was compassionate and treated my mom with respect and kindness. Janet knew exactly what to do regarding the meds that needed dispensing, and took the time to talk to my mom, stroke her arm, and even sing to her to try to make her final days peaceful and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend Janet to anyone looking for a compassionate, professional, and caring caregiver for their loved one.
