"Family is Everything!!" Mine and Yours!!

All the families I nanny for I treat like family. Ask any of my moms and dads in my reviews. I have decades of experience raising, nurturing, teaching and caring for newborns, infants (i. e. sleep training and putting them on a schedule), toddlers, twins as young as 3 months as well as older kids. I will teach them their developmental milestones using old fashioned means of learning. It's important to go on walks, go play at parks and take trips to the library too.

I am experienced at running a household, being a mother's helper, teacher and a nanny. Prior to becoming a nanny, I worked in a prestigious ELC for 9 years, most as a Head Teacher.

I am passionate about what I do, always on time, dependable, have great time management skills, and love being a nanny!

Jane was always on time in the morning, which was necessary for me to get to my job on time. As soon as Jane walked in the door she was ready to take over childcare duties. Jane quickly got into a routine and executed flawlessly.

Unreliable, Unprofessional, Undependable. 

We hired “Ms. Jane” to care for our 3-month-old, based on her repeated assurances of reliability, transparency, and long-term commitment. Unfortunately, our experience showed a pattern of inconsistency, boundary-pushing, and dishonesty that made her completely unreliable for childcare—especially for a newborn.

From the beginning, we were very clear that we needed care on Mondays and Fridays at an agreed-upon hourly rate. Ms. Jane confirmed—several times—that the schedule, rate, and commute were acceptable. She even suggested coming to our home to meet our baby, where she again confirmed her experience, the terms, and the commute being easy.

During this initial meeting, she repeatedly spoke about trust and how she treats her clients “like family,” and oddly ended by asking whether we trusted her. In hindsight, this felt more performative than sincere.

Three weeks before her scheduled start date, after all terms had long been agreed upon, Ms. Jane attempted to raise her rate by $5/hour and demanded that we pay for her commuting expenses—despite having already agreed many times that these terms were acceptable to her. When we said we could not meet these new demands, she reluctantly agreed to stick to the original arrangement.

The weekend before officially starting, she suggested another meeting (which she required payment for), met my parents, and again emphasized that “we are all family now.” She reassured us repeatedly that this was meant to be a long-term position and that she “wouldn’t leave us.”

The first day went as planned. But at 9:15 p.m. the night before her next scheduled shift, she texted us saying she wasn’t feeling well, creating last-minute uncertainty, though she ultimately did come. Four days later, she called out for an entire week, claiming a “misstep” that bruised her ribs. When asked directly whether she would be present for her next scheduled shift, she enthusiastically confirmed.

Three days later, she quit. She gave no notice, no apology, and took no ownership of any of her bizarre behaviors or lies.

For infant care, reliability, honesty, and consistency are non-negotiable. Ms. Jane repeatedly made grand statements about trust, family, and commitment, while her actions showed the opposite. The emotional language and promises did not match her behavior.

I would strongly caution other families—especially those with babies or who rely on consistent care—to look elsewhere.


Miss Jane was an incredible nanny for our 2 children. She was with our kids from infant to preschool age and loved them like her own. She is nurturing, patient, extremely professional, and very knowledgeable of the many developmental milestones in the baby/toddler years. I always knew our kids were in the best care with Miss Jane!

Jane is extremely reliable and excellent with babies/toddlers. She started with us when our daughter was 9 months old and she is almost 2 now. She has become a part of the family and our daughter loves her.  She is knowledgeable about child development, keeps our little one on a schedule, and really cares. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a nanny.

Jane was a great nanny to our daughter! She took care of her from the age of 3 months until about  1 years old. She would bring books and read to her and always played music for her. She also taught her sign language and got her on a great schedule! 

Our daughter never hesitated to go with Jane and was always happy to see her. We also formed a great relationship with Jane and trusted her very much. I would recommend her to any family looking to hire her!

Jane has been a wonderful nanny for our infant daughter. She is always on-time, follows all instructions for the baby, plays with her, reads to her, sends updates to me throughout the day, is always bright and cheerful and is very knowledgeable about caregiving for infants. Jane is a thoughtful, reliable, responsible and caring nanny. I highly recommend her! Any family would be lucky to have her!

Ms Jane is wonderful. She is very professional, has good work ethic and many years of experience. We hired her few months ago for our daughter and continuing to use her help.

We hired Jane to work as a nanny in our home over a year and a half ago, and I would certainly recommend her work. Jane has demonstrated tremendous responsibility in taking care of our children since they were six months old (currently two-year-old twins). She is kind, trustworthy and great with children.

It is clear to us that working as a nanny is a passion for Jane. She loves working with the children. She keeps the children occupied and most importantly, safe. Jane started watching my kids in October 2018.  She watches them in the morning before school and puts them on the bus.  She is always on time and comes to the house in a good mood every morning.  Both my kids enjoy spending time with her in the morning.  My daughter asks me every morning, "How much longer before Ms. Jane comes".  She is very reliable and dependable with caring out instructions relating to the kids.  She openly communicates any important information that I may need to know about my kids in a timely manner.  I feel very comfortable and secure knowing she is with my kids each morning and getting them off to school.  I would definitely use her at other times for child care if necessary and would recommend her to any family.  

Jane is mature, responsible, loving, and committed to the families with whom she works.  I trust her implicitly with my 4 children, one of whom is a special needs infant.  She is always on time.  She communicates well and documents everything.  And she is always professional and appropriate in her dealings with both the children and us as parents.  Any family would be blessed to have Jane caring for their children.

Jane is a very caring person! Our children's well-being and happiness was obviously her main priority. I would definitely recommend her to any family that is looking for an exceptional caregiver. 

Jane is exceptionally caring and passionate. She has a great deal of relevant experience that makes her a great fit with a wide variety of family dynamics. Jane has very strong organizational skills and can provide a well balanced amount of structure and nurture to her care. We would highly recommend her to ANY family seeking just the right person. 

Jane is very professional and great with kids! She also knows how important it is for children to learn and expand their minds at an early age, while also making sure they learn at their own pace and have fun! 

Jane loves kids, love teaching and is very passionate on what she does. She is a very nice person and easy to trust. She is very easy to talk to, very responsible, nurturing, loves to sing , arts crafts and is all about learning. If your looking for a person to take care of your kids Jane is the right one .

Jane is a very caring a professional person. I have known Jane on a personal and professional level for 3 1/2 years. She took care of my son since he was 3 months old. She takes such great care of the children she watches. My son gets so excited when he sees her! 

My son was under Jane's care for two and a half years. She is amazing with "her" children and is extremely passionate about what she does. She loves all of the kids as if they are her own and goes to great lengths to ensure they know that. Jane has worked tremendously hard to teach the kids things such as sign language, shapes, colors and much much more! She is truly an asset!
