About Jane

Jane cared for our 6-month-old daughter for the entire month of August, and we truly could not have asked for a better caregiver. She was absolutely wonderful with her and became such a special part of her little world in such a short amount of time. Jane was incredibly engaged in our daughter’s development. During their month together, she helped teach her to sit independently, introduced her to solids, and worked with us through sleep training. She was wonderful about practicing independent sleep and helping her learn to fall asleep on her own, but she was just as willing to sit and rock her for a two-hour contact nap on the days when that was simply what she needed. That balance of helping her grow while also meeting her exactly where she was made Jane such a wonderful caregiver. She was always early, incredibly reliable, and so communicative. She would tell us about new things our daughter was learning, little changes she noticed, and the sweet moments they had together throughout the day. We always felt completely confident that she was being cared for with so much attention and affection. More than anything, Jane made us feel like she genuinely loved our baby. By the end of the month, it was clear how attached they had become and how much Jane was going to miss her. As a parent, there is really nothing more you could hope for in someone caring for your child. We feel incredibly lucky that our daughter got to spend this month with Jane and would recommend her wholeheartedly to any family.
