About Janessa

I am a certified personal support worker for kids with disabilities and have eight years of experience working with kids of all ages. Furthermore, I have an associates degree in Outdoor Leadership and use it to encourage kids to love the outdoors and learn about nature. I am bicultural and I have achieved an exceptional level of proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in Spanish and use these skills to tutor kids and speak around other children to encourage a second language. Additionally, I have worked with individuals with a variety of ages and disabilities and am trusted and loved by all the families I have worked with. I am compassionate, creative, flexible, and reliable. Furthermore, I love animals and have experience with assisting equestrian therapy, trusted to care for ill and elderly dogs while owners are out of town, and volunteering at my local humane society. I am a strong swimmer and enjoy being active and supporting kids to engage in healthier lifestyles.
