Hello! I have over 15 years of experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapy provider, working in private clinical settings, within client's homes, and in early childhood education/grade school. In addition to my OT experience, I have over 2 years of experience as a nanny, and have previously worked as an in-home personal caregiver for an adult with special needs (1+ years), so I am very comfortable working within a family dynamic. I'm passionate about utilizing my education and experience to facilitate the development of physical, cognitive, language/communication, and social skills through play and positive enrichment activities, such as nature outings, museums, etc at an age appropriate level. We loved having Janelle as our temporary nanny! She helped with watching our 1.5 year old daughter for a few weeks, and it was a smooth transition from our daughter's normal caregiver (her grandma) to Janelle stepping in short term. She has great energy, care and kindness, and gave such positive encouragement to our daughter. She is excellent in communication with the parents as well. I would highly recommend her!
