Learning can be fun! With over 40 years of teaching experience of all ages, in public schools, private schools and individual tutoring, I have found that one retains more when learning through fun, simple games and hands-on practice at any level! Therefore, I welcome the challenge of tailoring my lessons to the student's specific style of learning and making it fun in the process. Living in Uruguay, South America for 2 years after completing my Bachelor's Degree and Teacher's Certificate, I became fluent in Spanish in both grammar and conversation. For 23 years I tutored Spanish and ESL to children, adults and high-school students while, at the same time, home-schooling my own three children (K-12). Other recent tutoring experience includes general Elementary and Middle School education. My resume also contains experience of playing in ensembles, bands, and orchestras while tutoring individual instrumental lessons on piano, clarinet, and guitar. Your FUN learning can start now!
