I worked as a Special Education teacher for students in grades 4-8. I taught in individual and group settings, incorporating different types of teaching styles. I also incorporated many sensory objects, changes or accommodations to the curriculum based on each students' needs, and I made the classroom a comfortable, fun, and safe work environment. In my second year of teaching I taught as a 2nd grade teacher. I taught all subjects, while teaching a variety of learners. I also tutored other children that were not in 2nd grade, created behavioral plans, and worked with each student according to their needs.
