About Janar

Janar has been our full time nanny for our now 2 year old boy for the past year and we are so sad to have to part ways, but are only doing so because we want to send him to daycare before he starts school. As first time parents, we really appreciated Janar’s calm and nurturing demeanor throughout our son’s different phases over the past year. I remember when we were looking for nannies, our son cried with everyone else but immediately warmed up to Janar. Her calm energy and motherly experience just comes across so naturally that even our baby could tell. She genuinely cared for our boy like he was her own, and it made a world of a difference as working parents to trust Janar with him all day. She’s incredible with taking him around the city and looking for playgrounds and activities and classes for him. She always respected our desires and parenting styles and our schedule and worked with us to adjust things as he got older. She was always on time, very communicative over text on any changes to the schedule, and was great at sharing photos and videos. I say all these logistical things because I know they’re important to people looking, but really what we loved about Janar was how much we could tell our son enjoyed spending the day with her. The fact that now our son happily waves goodbye to us as he goes out for the day with Janar says so much about her and how great she is with kids. We’re so grateful that we got to have Janar in our family and son’s life, and whoever works with her next is genuinely so lucky.
