About Janae

I'm a bubbly, dependable, patient, and CPR-certified childcare provider who genuinely loves working with kids. I've worked at The Goddard School of Locust Point, Perfect Harmony Preschool, and MOMIES through their after-school and summer camp programs. I also babysit privately for multiple families and have cared for children from infants through high school, including families with older siblings. I come from a family of educators and childcare professionals, and my mom was a teacher who ran summer camp. My first full-time childcare job was in 2023, and I immediately fell in love with it. I love making a positive impact on children and being the person I sometimes needed growing up. I recently graduated with a Criminal Justice degree and am preparing for law school with the goal of practicing family law. Outside of childcare, I enjoy cooking, reading, shopping, and spending time with family. I'm especially strong in tutoring, child engagement, and maintaining schedules and routines.
