About Jamila

I have 10+ years of experience working with children and families of varied ages and needs. I myself have been a mom for 21 years! I have always enjoyed the very young and the very old, human connection is essential to me and I find meaning in this kind of work. In addition to working privately with families, I have also worked as a teaching artist and an outreach coordinator for children with special needs. As well, I have worked as a personal chef for busy moms and dads, preparing weeknight meals, maintaining their pantry, grocery shopping, and adhering to dietary restrictions and/or preferences. I am organized, punctual, and a good listener. I thrive in home organizing projects, meal planning, and research. I am also happy to assist with travel and light housekeeping.
