About Jamie

I am currently a 5th grade teacher though I've taught preK to high school as well as adults. I can tutor: English, math (up to calculus), science (biology, physics), basic Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), very basic Spanish. I have some professional development in early childhood education. I'd describe my personality as calm, kind, patient. I like tutoring because I enjoy learning and teaching. I'm looking for a job that has flexible hours with communicative people. I started tutoring when I was in high school as part of community service. In my spare time, I like to take my dog on walks by the lake, spend time with loved ones (friends and family), read, cook, play games (boardgames and video games). One thing you should know about me is I am straightforward. My skills include English, math, science. Rates are negotiable based on the task.
