About Jamie

I'd describe my personality as caring, thoughtful, and empathetic. I like working with animals because I've always loved animals, since before I can remember. I'm looking for a job that allows me to connect with and help others - people and animals. I started working with animals when I was a teenager and would pet sit for family and friends. My family has also adopted cats since I was very young and dogs since I was 9 years old. In my spare time, I like to walk, hike, have game nights with my family, read, watch movies, travel, and live events. One thing you should know about me is I am honest and have integrity. My skills include being attentive to animals' needs, exercising pets to whatever level they need and are capable of (walking, hiking, swimming), and unabashedly talking to the animals (affectionately)! I have a senior dog, so I have patience when their energy level or cognitive function changes with time.
