I have been working with children since my young adolescence through early adulthood, I have had several full time nanny positions with ages ranging from six months to 5 years old, as well as caring for up two children of any age at a time. While attending high school I'd taken courses in early childhood development and have a firm and wide variety of knowledge on developmentally staged activities and learning opportunities. In my personal time I follow many passions, like painting, hiking, various crafts, singing, and playing ukulele. I am also very outdoorsy and love animals.

Jamie is an extremely patient and nurturing individual who took outstanding care of our infant from 3-9 mo. As new parents we didn't really have any idea what we needed in a caregiver, so it was nice to have a person like Jamie who was attentive to our instructions and flexible when our requests changed. She communicated with us when something didn't seem to be working for our daughter, as well as when she had scheduling conflicts. Our daughter would giggle and light-up each morning that Jamie arrived, which we feel is the perfect reflection on her character and the job she was doing with our daughter. Jamie was creative with developmentally appropriate activities they would do together both indoors and outdoors. Our daughter still loves singing and music. We have continued to hire Jamie as an occasional evening sitter and our feelings about her have not changed. We would highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a positive spirit to aid in the development their child.
