About James

Hi there! My name is James, and I am a third-year Finance major at the UNLV Lee Business School. Alongside my studies, I intern with StartUp Vegas, where I actively engage in Las Vegas's vibrant startup community. Additionally, I serve as a Peer Mentor at the Lee Business School, guiding 24 first-year students each semester as they navigate their early college journey. In this role, I coordinate regular meetings, provide guidance on university resources and opportunities, and lead classes on personal development and financial literacy. My passion for teaching and mentoring stems from the incredible experience I had with my own peer mentor during my freshman year. She inspired me to give back by helping students succeed and grow. Families can count on me to be outgoing, enthusiastic about working with students, and committed to helping others thrive academically and personally. I look forward to connecting and making a meaningful impact!
