About James

I'm James, a married stay-at-home dad to my 21-month-old daughter, who will accompany me during care. Looking to build a long-term match. I spent 8 years with the youth empowerment org, ultimately directing Adventure Programs, focused on youth development, safety, inclusion, and helping young people grow. Being a dad has given me hands-on childcare experience. Our days center on nature, movement, books, creativity, connection, and no screen time. I respect each child's perspective while providing structure, boundaries, and safety. I'm comfortable with infants through preschool age. I'm especially interested in a family where the children can become companions. Your child will be cared for as part of our community, though we will follow your lead. I have a college degree, Early Childhood Development coursework, and CPR/First Aid training. I'm happy to help with meals, tidying, outdoor activities, swimming, and household management.
