About James

My name is James. I am a 4th grade teacher. This will be my 5th year teaching. I've taught 4th and 5th grade as well as coached basketball and softball. Prior to teaching, I served 6 years in the Air Force. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from UWA and a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management with a minor in Homeland Security from JSU. I am engaged to my beautiful fiancé, Charniah. My hobbies include spending time with my fiance and our dogs, playing or watching sports, going to the gym, running, hanging out at the lake, and spending time with our family and friends. I'd describe my personality as ambitious, curious, and dependable. One thing you should know about me is that I am a safe space for children to learn in whatever way makes sense for them.
