I'm experienced with Alzheimer's care, oxygen tanks and oxygen machines, showering and bathing individuals, changing adult briefs and diapers, emptying catheter bags, changing stat locks, assisting with breathing treatments, checking vitals, treating high and low blood sugars, giving insulin injections, administering medications, and operating motorized Hoyer lifts. I'm also versed with G-tube tube feeding and providing medication via feeding port. I love pets, am a non-smoker, am CPR/First Aid trained, have a clean driving record, and am fully vaccinated against Covid. I'm a great listener, patient in stressful times, and respectful and empathetic to those in need of help. I love to converse with people, but I also know when quiet time is necessary. We have been very pleased working with Jalena. She is punctual and detail oriented. Demonstrates kindness, understanding, patience and is very knowledgeable. She is engaging and proactive with the care she gives. Jalena has fit right into our family like a glove. We were looking for a caregiver we could trust to look after our loved one with Alzheimers. In Jalena we found a compassionate companion. Someone who understands the needs of the individual and the importance of human engagement along with being a trusted, responsible, insightful caregiver. All this and she is wonderful with our dog too! We couldn't be happier working with Jalena.
