About Jakeira

I am Jakeira, a 25-year-old alumni of Delgado Community College. At Delgado, I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education because I have a deep passion for working with children. I have a strong foundation of tolerance and patience for caring for children of all ages. I was a Teacher Assistant in Metairie, where I taught and provided care for children aged 3 to 5. My responsibilities included, but was not limited to: educating toddlers on the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors, while also guiding them in properly regulating their emotions and interactions with peers. Additionally, I managed meal times, providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks to the students.
