About Jaime

I have always held a special place in my heart for seniors. I am patient, kind, compassionate and supportive, and above all, I believe seniors deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I first realized my special connection with older adults at 16, after earning my EMT certification. While caring for and transporting patients by ambulance, I found that with my older patients, I could almost always turn fear or hopelessness into a smile--and often even a giggle--by the time we reached the ER. Coworkers and ER staff often told me I simply had a knack for this age group. Years later, my grandmother suffered a stroke and required around-the-clock care for several months. Caring for her strengthened that connection even more. I was able to bring out plenty of smiles and giggles from her, too. Those experiences taught me that caring for seniors is about more than meeting their needs--it is about helping them feel heard, valued, respected and cared for.
