About Jahrielle

I was an Au pair for 4 years for a child ( from 6-11 years old) for one family and, 1 year for 2 girls (1-5 yr old- 2. 5 and a new born - 10 months). I have experience in babysitting as many as 7 children at a time, ages ranging from 4-13, as well as private tutoring, in both adult and child settings. I was a lead infant teacher in a day care setting in Washington for about 1 year. I love being a teacher because of the special friendship I get to create with each child, and because children are fun, and loving. I try to instill confidence and spark curiosity in each child in a safe and supportive environment. My favorite way to teach is to find their special interests and learn about them together. I enjoy building, especially with Lego's, and playing/teaching sports like soccer, basketball and badminton with the kids. My interests are hiking, skiing, reading, and cooking. I can also speak German.
