About Jaeline

I'm currently in my junior year. I transferred from a CC with my AA-T in psychology and an Associate Teacher Certificate in ECE. Right now, I'm majoring in HDFS, it's an interdisciplinary field where we explore human development and family dynamics from conception to death. We study biological, psychological, and sociological aspects of development to being understand being human and the relationships we form. I'm also minoring in Hispanic Cultures and History. I chose this path because I'm passionate about supporting children and their families, specifically the Latino community and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. I plan to get my LCSW and perhaps a PK-3rd grade teaching credential to explore professions within education and counseling. I currently work as a daycare teacher, I love what I do and what I study so I'm super excited to see where this all takes me!
